To join the team of our customer in Braunschweig, Erlangen, Ingolstadt, München, Ulm, Böblingen we are looking for Self-Driving Function Experts (m/f).


Job description:

• Responsible for initial concept development and project setup for R&D or customer projects
• Define requirements and analyze customer features for future SW components in our Highly Automated Driving product line
• Act as expert in the field of HAD software and educate colleagues, key player for know-how exchange 
• Produce high quality software in the safety relevant context of Highly Automated Driving
• Represent Driver Assistance products and services in customer meetings, internal and external presentations, fairs & conferences

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, Mathematics, or similar and ideally PhD with relation to Highly Automated Driving
• Experience as a technical lead or functional architect in the area of automotive grade software development using C++ and Highly Automated Driving
• Experience with highly automated driving cars and a good understanding of issues and problems that come up during development of Highly Automated Driving cars
• Understanding in all and a deep knowledge in at least one of the following areas: automotive sensors and sensor data fusion, control theory for ADAS / HAD, situation interpretation and decision making in automotive environment
• Good overview of legal aspects and discussions w.r.t. Highly Automated Driving
• E
xtraordinary communication skills and the ability to network
• Advanced English (written and spoken) mandatory, good German knowledge is a plus
